Come to a Meeting!

Washtenaw Toastmasters meets every Thursday at 7:00pm. Beginning on May 15, 2008 we will meet in room 316 (3rd Floor) of the Student Center Building at Washtenaw Community College. Visitors are welcomed! Visiting a meeting gives you a firsthand look at the opportunities that we have to offer as well as the personality of our club.

Below is a map of the 3rd floor of the Student Center building. We now meet in room SC 316, on the 3rd floor of the Student Center.

What to Expect
Visitors are welcomed! Visiting a meeting gives you a firsthand look at the opportunities that we have to offer as well as the personality of our club.

As a visitor you are free to sit back and watch the meeting knowing that you will not have to speak (other than telling us your name!). You will have the opportunity to participate in the Table Topics portion of the meeting by speaking on an impromptu subject. However, you will not be pressured to do this and many guests do chose not to. Every one of us had some difficulty with public speaking and we respect guests' and members' discretion to move at their own pace.

What If I Have Questions?
We are a talkative group and will gladly answer any questions you have (and some you don't). Please do not feel shy to address your reservations, fears, or questions. We recognize that visitors who have an accurate perception of our organization are going to be more comfortable and, ultimately, more happy with their decision to join.

Come back and visit again! We like people whether they're members or not. You can visit as long and as often as you'd like.
